A dense school of Anthias wraps around this coral bommie in Camiguin, Northern Mindanao, Philippines. I remember how blown away I was to see such thriving life in the form of these schools of Anthias. The current was particularly strong, so it was challenging to nail this shot. I wanted to capture the school in a swirling pattern as they enveloped the coral bommie, and after some persistence, I got it. I especially like how much dynamism and movement this piece conveys.
