The final leg of a photo project for the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) - Fisheries and Aquaculture Division. On assignment for Panos Pictures UK.
Ending the expedition with a story about the Tagbanua tribe of Calauit and their close relationship with their waters and mangroves. The tribe practices artisanal, sustainable fishing for sustenance and livelihood, keeps close watch over their mangrove forest, and manages the tourism on Aban-aban cove.
